The first Honda Jazz model was unveiled in India in the year 2009. During 2009, the car was actually in its second generation, globally. The first generation only had a petrol engine, but the third generation of this Honda car model has both petrol as well as diesel engines.
The features on Honda Jazz have been changed and upgraded over the years. The latest Honda Jazz model has a sportier look and it is aerodynamically enhanced. The model still has the traits of MPV looks, however it has a modern touch now.
The interior of the new Jazz is same as the older model but there is a slight increase in the length of the cabin space which increases the comfort level. The machine comes with many new and interesting features like rear camera and even a fancy 6.2-inch touchscreen display with navigation and DVD playback features.
The Honda Jazz comes with the famous 1.2-litre VTEC petrol engine and the new 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine. The petrol model comes with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic, whereas the diesel model comes with a 6-speed manual.
The petrol model of the car churns 90bhp of power and 110Nm of torque. However, the diesel model of the car touches 100bhp of power and 200Nm of torque.
