TVS entered the sports bike commuter segment with the “Apache” series back in the year 2006 to rival Yamaha and Hero. Since then TVS has been a fierce competitor considering the motorcycles it has in the market currently. Their latest addition was the Tvs Apache Rtr 200 4V. This bike was most awaited by motorcycle enthusiast as TVS promised to roll the dice and make a motorcycle which gave the best performance and in a reasonable price range.
The Apache 200 4V has a muscular tank which helps the rider to grip the bike better during the corners. It comes with a sharp looking halogen headlamp with DRL’s. This bike is the flagship motorcycle for TVS, thus took 4 years to hit the tarmac finally. It is just 20ccs more than its younger sibling – the RTR 180, but is also impressive in the way the cockpit is designed. The cockpit features the instrument cluster which was analogue and digital in the RTR 180 but is completely digital in the RTR 200 and features a speedometer, time, lap-time (for track racing), top speed recorder, rpm indicator, odometer, and tachometer.
Hence, this bike comes with premium features. TVS has also collaborated with BMW recently to launch its 300cc motorcycle along with BMW’s G 310R.
