The Yamaha FZ series is among the most popular bike models in the country. Since its launch, the bike has received numerous updates, right from mechanical changes to cosmetic updates. The new Yamaha Fzs feels and looks quite different. The Blue Core engine concept is more efficient than the previous ones. Under the same engine concept, the Japanese brand has launched the FZS Version 2.0. In terms of design, the model is pretty similar to the FZ which has been updated too.
The Yamaha FZS comes with a two-piece seat, new cooling shrouds, revised bikini fairing and so on. The bike is powered by a newly designed air-cooled engine which works efficiently from a closed loop fuel injection system. The manufacturer claims that there is a 14 percent improvement when it comes to fuel efficiency. The bike is available in five colours – Alligator Green, Matte Green, Wolf Grey, Shark White and Viper Black. As for the competition, the Yamaha FZS competes with the likes of Honda Hornet and Suzuki Gixxer.
