BMW bike models are now manufactured in the variety of shaft, chain, and belt driven models, with engines from 310 cc to 1,649 cc. These models are designed for off-road, dual-purpose, sport, and touring activities. The company introduced the DOHC Boxer HP2 Sports engine in 2008 and entered the competition of the motorcycle market with the G450X motorcycle.

BMW bikes are new to the Indian market but still is a part of every Indian motorcycle enthusiast’s fantasy. As these bikes are mostly superbikes, they can provide decent on track and highway performance, but due to their powerful engine and low mileage, these bikes might not be able to offer the same performance in the city traffic.
